Taro And Sago Sweetened Soup
In chinese food, this is a very famous dessert
Ingredients:
150 g Taro
80 g Sago
400 ml Coconut milk
400 ml Water
½ tsp Artifical sugar
Cooking methods:
Dice the taro and steam for about 20 minutes until cooked.
Bring a pot of water to boil. Rinse the sago and pour into the boiled water. Cook and keep stirring so it doesn't stick or get lumpy. Continue cooking until the sago is transparent. Now put out the whole lot into a colander. Turn on the cold water and rinse the sago under the water.
Bring 400ml water to boil and add in the taro and sago. Turn the heat down. Add in artificial sugar and coconut milk. Stir until all well-combined. It tastes good either served hot or cold.
