Sour And Sweet Shrimps With Black Bean Sauce

Ingredients:
200 g Shrimps, medium
1 stalk Celery
1/3 pc Onion
50 g Carrots
2 clove Garlic
1 tsp Black bean
3 tbsp Salad oil
Marinade:
¼ tsp Salt
1 tsp Cornstarch
1 tbsp
Egg white
¼ tsp Sesame oil
Pinch of white pepper powder
Thickener:
2 tbsp Water
½ tbsp White vinegar
½ tbsp Sugar
¼ tsp Salt
½ tsp Light soya sauce
½ tsp Cornstarch
Cooking methods:
Peel the
shrimps except the tails, devein and clean. Mix in the marinade and set aside for about 30 minutes.
Cut the carrots, celery and onion into small pieces or the desired patterns. Mix all the ingredients for the thickener in a small bowl.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet until hot but not smoking. Add in prepared
vegetables and fast-fry for about 3-5 minutes. Take out and set aside. Add in the rest of 2 tablespoons of oil, then add in the marinated shrimps. Stir until shrimp start to turn bright pink Dish off.
Stir in the sliced garlic and black bean. Stir until fragrant and return the shrimps and vegetables to the skillet. Pour in the thickener and stir until all the ingredients are fully coated with sauce. Dish off and serve hot.
