Lotus Root Soup

Ingredients:
(A):
200g vegetarian meat 100g peanuts, washed 50g red dates, seeds removed 400g lotus roots 3 Chinese honey dates 1.5 litres water
Seasoning:
1 tsp salt or to taste Dash of monosodium glutamate 1 tsp vegetarian oyster sauce (optional)
Cooking methods:
- Combine (A) in a pressure cooker. Cover and cook over high heat until the pressure indicator is shown. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 20?0 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, depressurise slowly and gradually open the cover. Add seasoning to taste and serve immediately. (Vegetarian oyster sauce is added for additional flavour but it can be omitted.)
